Dude I noticed that in Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, they put “bathroom” instead of “washroom” and I was like “don’t British people say washroom?” And my mom was like “yeah, but that’s the Americanized version, it was originally called Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone” ._. Wow, it’s literally the same language, why do we need an American versionJul 22, 2021

Ummm nevermind….. apparently British people call the bathroom a “watercloset” …………….. I don’t think our little American brains would understand what in the Chocolate Chip ice cream that means……..
uhh idk how true this is but everything I've seen said it was made to be simpler language lmao, but I guess it taught us what philosopher's meant wayy earlier than others?
