As you may know we've starting rolling out Artfol 2 to the public. We've read through a lot of feedback and understand some of you are frustrated at the removal of certain features and changes in UI. As said in previous replies, we don't expect everything to land on our first try but we'll definitely consider everything that has been said.
Going forward, we'll need time to discuss and review what changes need to be made but below are some areas we'll definitely be looking into:
• More accessible UI; adjusting text and icons to fit better on the screen
• Other UI changes based on feedback received; including revisiting profile design and separating UI elements better
• Bringing back the question tab
• Bringing back location field on profiles
• Ability to collapse/expand repliesOct 24, 2024

Sometimes when I try to refresh the app just closes. But I’m sure it’s just a glitch and you will fix it in no time!

Just one thing that's becoming a little annoying is that, whenever I get into the app I get the same message about the actualization of Artfol 2. Like, I understand I got it the first time, but it is unnecessary I get it every single time I come here (not to mention it is pretty hard to get it out of my screen) especially when I already updated the app. Just my only complaint at the moment.

I have a random question, but are the big icons after you tap the search supposed to be buttons? Because if so, then they don't work (or I just can't figure out the meaning behind them), and they look strangely out of place with the more 3d looking icons
Also, I love how creating challenges is now its own thing, I really appreciate that change! But it's a shame the challenge tab has been moved into the community tab instead of being its own thing. I feel like challenges have been such a big part of the community for so long that I genuinely don't understand why they got "hidden"

•This might be a hard question, i just wanted to ask tho: will there be multiple pictures or clips options in the future?

Whoa yey! I'm so glad that bringing back the question tab is on the agenda! Personally, so far I think the current UI is fine as it is, not too much adjustments to be made from the previous one. But yeah the questions tab is one of my only two concerns with the new one. The other being the "Recents" tab to be more accessible without having to click "trending" to change. But other than that it is good, I have not further complaints XD

Please make it so you can see the number of comments on a post BEFORE you open the comment section! Like put the number on the comment icon. It used to be like that.

•I really like the update, but it makes me happy you consider your community and what they have to say. Great work, I'm very thankful for what you are doing.
I honestly miss that I could see the thumbnails of the recent works from a user when clicking on their works, that's a feature I miss, but in general I really like how smooth the change is and how intuitive the UI is now.

Hey Artfol! Seems like half of the users are getting the update, whilst the other half is still stuck on Artfol 1. I’m part of the half that’s still stuck since it seems like the update is available for Android users if I’m correct?
Is there a set date for IPhone users?

•I really liked being able to search for a tag, by clicking a tag on a post. So find a post that is tagged #cat and click the tag to automatically do a search for things tagged cat. Was it a bug that this was removed? I hope it comes back!

I'm so happy you're bringing some features as the Questions tab back !! So far I like the update things are definitely smoother to load the artworks, for me at least...You're doing an amazing job and I'm sure we'll be patient regarding all the adjustments that have to me made, and thank you so much for listening to all the feedbacks it really feels good to be heard, compared to Instagram throwing IA without the consent of users ...

I actually can't seem to see the location field in profiles anymore tho... And the images' quality seems to have lowered a bit on the timeline :( Maybe the app is just bugging a bit right now tho, I hope these things get fixed eventually ;w;

Congrats, Artfol team!!! I'm so happy to see Artfol 2 is officially out at last, everything I've seen looks awesome so far!!
