Setsuna in African Violets
It took forever to draw her but I am happy to finally show her in all her elegance. I remember the first time I read the manga, I was touch by her sacrifice and her loyalty. A beautiful sign that love will always prevail and win over everything. This sounds sappy but I truly believe in the power of love and Sailor Moon had no little part in making this mindset.Guarding the Gates of Time is no easy feat so I also respected her not because she was the oldest but because in my opinion she had one of the more serious tasks at hand. Time is precious.
I chose African Violets because, among other things, this flower stands for faithfulness. I really think that she showed her faith in Sailor Moon and the group in using her powers.Aug 29, 2021
