ART QUESTION
I have a question, what are some final touches u always like to add to ur artpieces?

I always add some “chromatic aberration” when i can. Makes the artpiece more lively in a way :DMay 6, 2021

Glow and highlights! Sometimes gaussian blur and lately I've been using the chromatic aberration, pretty cool for dramatic effects

•
•A lot of shading details and maybe overlays with a soft filter and I really like the noise filter :D
•
•I like to use the lasso tool and add little wisps of color or glow. I’m not sure why, it’s just something I really like to do

•
•Gaussian blur anything that looks wonky, add flecks of dust and motion blur it up, and sometimes slap some diamonds down for no reason
•
•Oh man I love that sweet, sweet chromatic aberration! I also like to toss filters over it until I find something that gives it that final push!!
•
•White strands of hair (regardless of hair colour) ,definitely highlight, uhh sparkles xD? Yeah I think that's it

•
•I almost always include a palette of the colors I mixed, but every time I finish a piece I go to photograph and realize my wash is too light so I go add another wash lololol
•
ooh i add little white highlights to everything idk how it started but it makes everything look good i think. i add like a stroke with a dot at the end.
•
•I like to add the lighting over the lineart, makes the drawing pop as well as adding noise to it, gives a slight more detail^^

•Absolutely love chromatic aberration. :)
Also sometimes an inconsistent rgb glitch is really fun, especially in a program like blender where you can use nodes to really get some cool tweaks. Also, one of my friends taught this to me, but if you photograph or scan a blank piece of paper, adding it on top as a multiply layer gives it a nice look. :)

•Most the time roughly drawing a shadow over the characters and dimm it down so they fir better into the background and don’t stand out so much.
And sometimes things I forgot to add before
