Sean Connery
This is my pic of Sean Connery as James BondHe was a Scottish actor who was born Thomas Sean Connery on the 25th August 1930, and died on the 31st October 2020 at the age of ninety!
He was the first actor to play in the James Bond films as the hunky secret agent, starring in seven Bond movies from 1962-1983. He was also my favourite James Bond.
He made many films, including all sevenJames Bond movies, The Hill, The Untouchables, The Molly Maguires, Murder on the Orient Express, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Offence, Entrapment, The Hunt for Red October, The Name of the Rose, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Time Bandits, The Wind and the Lion, Zardoz, Highlander, Shalako, and many more.
My favourite film of his is the '60s film The Hill. It's also well worth a watch to see that Connery can play against type.Feb 8, 2026
