Baryonyx at the beachthis is a really experimental piece wayyy out of my comfort zone so i'd like critique on everything! composition, colours, brushwork etc. I'm aiming for a storybook/kid's book style, like cartoonish and pretty.

For me the Sky is very nice, but I saw your doodle and I find the composition in your doodle better ! ^^ You had a middle ground with the cliffs that concentrate the attention on the center so the baryonyx seems to "float" less. You can also increase the reflection of the Sun on the sea, it's a bit too shy !

This looks amazing, i love it! The colors and lighting are gorgeous, I think it really works well in a semi-realistic cartoon/Storybook style ^^
The only thing i personally think you could change it The two pink & orange strokes that are painted over the yellow? They look very similar and dont blend in with the sky as much as the rest of the piece does—
