Pendant of Ansu Bird

Made of lapis lazuli and gold. Ansu was a mythological creature, hybrid of lion and bird (probably eagle). Represented the powerful entity with divine status. Ansu could bring thunderstorms and luck to kings and legendary heroes like Lugalbanda. Artefact found in Mari (today's an archaeological site Tell Hariri)
