Umi Ryuuzaki
1 of 3 I always liked Umi the most, especially design-wise. She just seemed so graceful and calm throughout the series. I chose lilies to accompany her for those exact reasons but the colors I ended up using for the flowers also reminds me of the Silent Princess flower from Zelda BOTW, or something you would find in FFX’s Macalania Woods
I remember working on her face very vigorously when I did this one. I don’t know what it was but I level now, something about the expression and angle just seems strange to me. I think I’ve just never drawn this unique position before in a illustration (I used a rapier reference photo to model her after) but the arm looks very off to me...?
