I value comments more. The ones I like most are the ones that directly acknowledge my OCs. They mean the world to me so it makes me really happy when people take the time to read what I've written about them in the description and respond accordingly. I appreciate all comments but it feels a bit underwhelming when I draw art of an OC and get generic praise like "so cute

I love comments, just nice comments in generale, I love them all, but I think my favorite would be the persons that say what my art make them feel, or if they ask questions about my worlds or oc, even tho those are very very rare

I really appreciate comments, they are more valuable than likes. Since the idea that someone liked my work so much that they said it rather than using the quick escape of the like button shows more effort and value of the art.

I do, in a way they help motivate me to draw more but at the end of the day I'd draw regardless but comments just help me feel good about what I draw instead of hating my own art all the time oof

Of course I appreciate comments! It's nice to know someone enjoyed my work enough to say something, even if it's something simple like a "nice art" or whatever.

Comments are effectively super likes to me, because they mean somebody took the time to write out their thought on a piece

One comment is worth 10000000 likes for me 
it means that person liked your art so much that they took time to let you know it, and so I cherish every single one and I'm really grateful for that

I do prefer having a comment than a like ! A comment is someone that was intrigued enough by your art, and took some of their time to write a comment, so It's more gratifying than a like I think 
And obviously encouragement and compliments are so motivating

Since all the comments are always so supportive I'm always really happy and thankful about them

I like comments, specifically compliments/encouragement! I find it really nice that someone likes my art enough to take the time to leave a comment!

I love feedback. More on art than text posts but text posts help to engage more in the community so I love that too. Receiving feedback on my art is nice too because it shows the viewer like it enough to write something too

I’m kinda in between? I love it when people tell stories or leave answers to questions but compliments don’t mean a lot because I don’t know that person or if they’re sincere so I feel bad that I don’t appreciate them

I always appreciate the comments the most. I'm really critical of my art so when someone comments that they like it it really makes my day. It's also great when I get constructive feedback.
