BOTH, but as long as the corruption arc gets redeemed because I feel sad if the person dies a bad person

I love redemption arcs bc some characters really deserve it but sometimes people can fuck it up because ALOT OF CHARACTERS dont deserve it cough COUGH steven universe COUGH
Sorry ah anyways

But CORRUPTION ARCS so good top tier why?
Because no one EVER deserves them
Thats why it hurts so bad

I really love redemption arcs for characters that aren’t entirely bad and also I really love happy endings and what not (things ending on a really sour note doesn’t do it for be. Bittersweet is a different story though). However, corruption arcs can be much more interesting to mess around with and see

I like both, but for redemption arc it has to be done correctly imo

i’m a sucker for happy endings so I guess whichever leads to a happy ending in the story lol. Corruption arcs are more fun, but redemption arcs make me happier (only if the character deserves it tho, if they don’t it really bothers me)
