Artfolmas 2025I was gonna actually submit this, but it didn’t really turn out how I wanted it to and I don’t want that many people to see it lol. I still wanted to post it though cause I worked really hard on it (probably spent like 10 hours on it…somehow) and learned a lot! I was gonna try and post it on the 12th (Dia de la Virgin de Guadalupe) the start of the Christmas season in Mexico… when I was studying axolotls, I learned that they’re from Mexico, so I thought it’d be cute to have Foley celebrating a Mexican Christmas. I don’t live in Mexico and have never been though, so everything I know about it is straight from Google lol. Seems like it’s sort of a thing to have fireworks on the 12th though, so I thought it’d be super fun to have Foley and the viewer looking up at all the lights and colors. Obviously it’s not the 12th now, because I couldn’t get it “finished” in time. I’ll never be satisfied though lol, so I decided to just call it let it go and move on. The colors ended up being the bane of my existence even though that was the part I was most excited about lol.Dec 17, 2025
