Question:
Do you digital artists use the pre-set brushes preferably, or do you make up your own or buy/download other custom brushes?

Buy a 50 brush pack for one (1) dollar and then only use two brushes from it
I made 2 and the rest I use are default brushes
Tweaked default brushes.
Ive downloaded a few but i always end up going back to default brushes
I've downloaded a few, like oils and painterly ones, but the ones I always come back to are preset ones that I fiddled with and added textures/customization to. ; u; I should probably branch out more. People can do some amazing things w different brushes.
I mostly use brushes I made, but I also use downloaded/preset ones. The custom brushes are just really convenient for like my signature/watermark so I don’t have to copy and paste it every time
I use a mix between the standard brushes and some that I've downloaded
I just use a standard round tip regardless of the software. Maybe I should try using different brushes.
I use some preset (on csp), some downloaded/paid for. I don't have enough knowledge about making brushes and I'm hoping I'll start to wrap my head around how they work better by studying the differences in the ones I've downloaded \o/
I started of with preset brushes but after changing my pc and tablet i do use some downloaded brush 💛 it’s helpful and i really wanna learn how to make your own brushes thou💜
My main brushes are downloaded but I like to use the preset brushes a lot too
I love textured brushes and I feel like presets usually aren't that good in that matter. I'm also too stupid/lazy to make my own brushes so I just buy them.
Mainly use the preset cause downloading custom brushes takes too long and to me is too confusing and buying brushes? Pff-imbroke-
Preset- not good at making brushes and dont understand how
I use mostly my own custom brushes since I use cracked Sai 2 and I had to download a set of brush textures separately..
It's pretty neat having to tweak the settings to get the brush that you want/need :)
