I've come to the horrifying realisation that people don't know how to pronounce my name. I used to think it was just people who aren't good in English but recently whenever I tell someone my name they keep saying it back differently?? Like how hard is it to say Janine/jeanine??? I struggle to pronounce many things properly but if you correct me I will always keep trying to get it right. I never understood why some people don’t put effort into saying a persons name right.
