totally not 9 days late buuut RAMADAN MUBARAKK!!!!!!!!! Some information about Ramadan
Ramadan is the ninth and most holiest month in the Islamic lunar calander. In this month, we Muslim fast all 29-30 days from sunrise to sunset, meaning we abstain from eating and drinking for the day. A lot of people don't know this but fasting also means abstaining from doing bad, like backbiting, swearing, lying etc etc. Some people may ask "why do you fast?" The number one reason we fast is because it is an act of worship and sincerity to our God. Buut that's not all because fasting also comes with a lot of other benefits such as physical, spiritual, mental, psychological and social benefits! It also allows us to empathize with those around the world who unfortunately don't have food and have to struggle. Oh and some may also ask "why is it the holiest month?" Thats because its the month in which the holy book, the Quran, was revealed. Not only that, but our good deeds are multiplied by a minimum of 10 to 700 times!!! It's really a month full of golden opportunities <3
