Some days are easy, and some days are hard. Today was hard. I had a few crying episodes today because of how much I miss my dog. It happens mostly on Mondays because it was on a Monday he was put to rest. It's been two weeks since that day.Feb 6, 2023

I’m so sorry.
I lost my soul cat in October of 2021 and still cry sometimes when I let myself think about him too long. It took weeks before I stopped crying every night (he used to come to bed with me) and months before I didn’t think about him everyday.
I promise it’ll get easier. I read a quote once that said grief doesn’t get smaller but that you learn better ways of carrying it as you go. Sending lots of comfort your way

•I'm so sorry, I know what it feels like. Trust me it will get better with time, but in my experience even if the sadness hits less frequently, it still hurts the same way.
