Blood and the heat of the sun wasn't a great mix, and Estelle took note of that, her body numb due to ache and the itchiness that was spreading on and under her skin.

"Where am I?"

She asked as she looked at her surroundings. The sea was gently lapping at the land, in the distance there were signs of plant life. The beach on the other hand, was desolate save for the few rocks and pebbles littered across the golden sand that glittered in the sunlight

Wait, golden sand? could it be?

"Tigloras"

She breathed out, awestruck as she scooped up a handful of the tiny gold specks, watching it get blown by the wind. She was about to grab her pen and paper, and perhaps some container in order to collect some samples of the sand when she realized that they were gone.

"Right, shipwreck. All those years of research and travel,,, all those writings all those- GAHHH!!!"

Her venting rudely interrupted by a sharp pain that shot up her side. Slowly, she lowered her body onto the rocks,,, wincing as the wound throbbed, each beat more painful than the last.

Well, she could complain about her life's work later on, for now all she could do was stare at the horizon, dark shapes signifying faraway islands she wished she could explore as well.

I kinda dislike this part of the compilation due to the fact that I was suffering from artblock and was still in my "recovery stage" but eh, it's still pretty swag.
