Planning on studying marketing or continuing to an illustration/animation degree. Depends on where my art skills are in a year or so. I’m currently doing a fine arts associate degree for transfer.

I do nursing school on the side. It is very depressing to me and bad for my mental health. I feel like my soul has died because of school :(

Yeah nah, the myth of all artists being poor and homeless is just that, a myth. There is so many avenues and different career paths for artists nowadays that you're bound to find something. Ever single facet of our lives is touched by an artist. That being said, it might not be the easiest path to take since we all have such a personal connection with our art.
But yeah... Im taking the long route and studying IT with the intent to get a job and be financially independent, while continuing to pursue art as a side gig until it can one day be my full time job. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Right now I’m at the last year of the graphic school (I don’t know if it called like this in English).
I’m planning to continue studying and go to the university but I can’t decide if study letters or cultural heritage (?) or go to the academy of fine arts.

I personally think the starving artist thing isn’t true and is a dumb idea put into our heads by people who think u have to have a boring office job and hate it but that’s j me. I’d rather do a job that doesn’t pay as much and be happy than not like my job!
