Do you prefer traditionally attractive vampires or grotesque vampires?

I love the "beast in human skin" kinda vampires, where they use attraction as a trap, there's an episode on Magnus Archives where they show the creepiest rendition of a vampire I've ever known
β€’
Attractive... that's really a significant reason why I like them in the first place.
β€’
Both is good
But I also like the ones who have a human form... And then transform into their true grotesque self 🐍 (I like dome snake elements in them)
β€’
Why not both?
β€’
The attractive ones that are actually bloody, sadistic and merciless creatures. So to sum up, both mixed.
β€’
I like both
β€’
though i do love grotesque monsters, i do like the idea that any of us could be vampires. vampires doesn't have to look attractive, they just have to blend in society.
β€’
I don't know because attractive vampires end up being edgy and cringe and the story becomes just a boring romance, but grotesque vampires make me thing directly to "Nosferatu" where the vampire is so clumsy and has so much make up special effects that it becomes funny instead of scary. Well I don't mind because I don't like scary things, but it is supposed to feel at least worrying. In "Vampyr" I liked how they represented vampires, they look just like old humans but hide in the fog so you never know where they are and who they are attacking next, and you clearly see the consequence of their menacing presence by characters not surviving.
β€’
I like any monster design grotesque. I love love love scary and horrifying character designs! That's my preference! ^^
β€’
With all the sexy vampires having been the norm recently, it would be kinda nice to see someone taking a crack at the grotesque interpertation 🩸
β€’
β€’
I have a passion for grotesque things, so I have to say the latter πŸ’…πŸ»
I do believe that what makes Vampire really attractive is their charisma, their charm and not their appearance 😌
β€’
β€’
Somewhere in between.

There’s something deeply unsettling about a creature that appears almost human.
Charismatic but incapable of empathy.

Noono, I like to consider vampires as heartless things, no soul. All hunger. But juust presentable enough for someone to assume humanity from them.

Like a conventionally attractive husk.
