First of a mini serie of 4 illustrations, inspired by Jules Verne and Steampunk in general! Each illustration will be the cardinal directions : eastern, western, boreal and austral.
The text say "eastern palace, The transoceanic" in French. The frame is inspired by an old post stamp.
The city itself is inspired by the lovely turkish birds houses.
