Birds of Childhood - Blackbird
Blackbird painting from a series titled Birds of Childhood. The series contains 4 acrylic painting based on birds that I always watched when visiting my grandparents for longer times in the winter. My grandpa had feeders hanged in the garden, fashioned from old coffee boxes, and every morning he filled them and we watched the birds coming to feed in the hard times. Blackbirds were usually the little collectors who sat under the feeder and waited for any treasures to fall down as they were too big to hang on the feeder itself. I liked to think it was a team effort and the other birds were nice with them, dropping some seeds intentionally.Jul 6, 2021#blackbird
