Last night i went to bed a bit later than usual, around 1 am. So when I'd just fallen asleep i hear this loud knock on the front door. Three knocks, then silent. I regained consciousness, terried, so i woke up my man and he was so asleep and like "huuuh?¨ and I said ¨ did you lock the door? i head a knock¨ That woke him up in a snap (in retrospect, kinda cute). But we heard nothing. Didn't go downstairs to check either since the motion activated lights outside were still dark. I asked about it today and he said that I've done the same thing at least two times already, waking him in the middle of the night because I heard knocking on the door.. So i googled it today, seems like I have another parasomnia to add to my list XDMar 23, 2025

Sleep is such an interesting topic, there's so much we don't know. I had one experience where I was going to sleep early, everyone else was still up. I started hearing the Malcom in The Middle theme song, it was real enough to fool me. I would have gone the rest of my life thinking it was real if the theme song didn't actually start playing a few seconds later with slightly more clarity and realness
