Juvenile Sea Serpent
Got some new colored pencils! Forgot how fun they were lol~
The juvenile sea serpent can be distinguished from an adult first by it’s size and it’s thinner body. But the most notable difference is the smaller hump of fat extending from it’s forehead to the back of it’s skull. As it grows the hump will increase in size, allowing both greater range of echolocation and more padding for smashing prey.Mar 7, 2024

•I love the strokes near the fin like appendages. And also the info on its growth. Looking at the face makes me feel the pain from grabbing a crab wrong
