maybe it's just my working preference but i honestly dislike it when people need to text me about work or any urgent things and they only say "Hey" or "Hello" then proceed to say nothing at all and wait until I reply so they would start getting to the details of the things they want to talk about.
Like that's so unprofessional honestly by doing this you're wasting both of our time, next time just say Hi Hey whatever and then state your business with me, do not wait for me to reply
not everyone is always online ffs I have work to do and places to be I'm not always available online
Plus if you talk about your business before hand then I could just, reply to both your greeting and business in one message instead of wasting time replying to your greeting then wait for you to read and type the message then after that I would need to think and type a reply for the matter that's so time consuming djdisjsnsoci tbh if this isn't about anything important stuff I would have ghosted you from the start frJun 10, 2022

there are instances where this happens with one of my classmates and he doesn't always reply back and I'm like "what" like bro what did you want to say??? This feeling kind of became numb for me after a while so I just ignore it if they seenzone me

ONG FR, I got one recently and I completely ignored it, because not only is it annoying its shady and I dont feel comfortable answering someone who doesn't state their purpose, like get to the point, if u want something ask for it smh.

•I think it's polite to say how are you or how have you been with friends before asking theme something. But that is something completly different then work. For work it would be weird to only get the message hey first. If it's just hey or hallo I would also think it's weird
