Trying to get my DBA and EIN all sorted out so I can legally table at conventions this fall, and whoo boy. EIN was SO easy to do. I thought that would be the hard part cause it's all IRS and taxes stuff. It was a breeze and cost nothing.
On the other hand, DBA has been the worst hellfire of confusion because my state decided that they don't recognize DBAs and they just lumped everything under "trademark" and it litterally says that nowhere. I had to call them after bashing my head against a wall for 2 days

Oof that sucks about the DBA I’ve been looking into getting one myself, taxes is the main reason why I’ve put off doing commissions and pod because it all seems like a massive headache like quarterly taxes and all that just make my head spin.
