here's a little morning sketch from my sketchbook for you

this is a study of one of John Singer Sargent's charcoal portraits. these are some of my favourite to practice from, there's just something about the way the lines and the shading is used.

I've used a 2B pencil instead of charcoal here, but I've really been enjoying studying from his work to improve my own sketching. I have have a few portraits that I've tried to recreate but this has to be my favourite one!
