(IDN)What do you do when your posts are flopping? I'm just curious... me? Yeah I try not to think much about it. I play games, listen to R&B and jazz, or somethin to divert my attention from it, yes it kinda hurts when I spent like 6-10 hours doing nothing but drawing and all I get is crickets.. again, I try not to give a damn just to make myself feel better

I pretend that I don’t care when in reality it makes me very frustrated. However I just try to do other things to distract me, like homework or listening to music. And sometimes I might even delete it and repost it like a month later (The 2nd time is usually more successful)

nothing, really. Regardless of how many hours I put in an artwork, I can't control if it'll be appealing to people. It's not my fault if it flops, nor is it anyone else's. Important thing is I like what I did :))

I’am disappointed for 5 minutes at best. It’s not an information that’s going to stick into my mind so I don’t need to distract myself from it (It’s just near the bottom of my list of problems).

For other apps, I think you mostly just have to practice acceptance and keep in mind that how much interaction you get online doesn't equate to the value of your art. On Artfol, the same principles apply, but generally the more you interact with and support others, the more you receive.

there's not a point in getting sad about it (although that does happen) but hey if it flops, it flops, it is what it is and it do be like that sometimes

I get sad and demotivated and go doodle something less energy consuming instead of trying to do a finished piece that no one will care about in the end

•I just close the app and do other things, but sometimes go to check up if people have liked my flopping post, if not I'll proceed to do other things. I also try to not think too much about it since it happens that some posts may flop.

i don't pay enough attention to notice lol. if they flop, they flop. sometimes they reach immense success. i just post for myself, so if ppl like my stuff that's just neat.

•Ayyyye, I know this feeling. I sort of nod and except nothing different. But get excited for the next drawing. Music helps alleviate it or watching people play games

•it depends. sometimes i go "hmm what would they like" and if i posted something that i really like (something for myself ig) but flops i go "its ok its what i like anyways"
