I haven't drawn in ages, or even used this place(I like the new look!) I keep finding excuses not to draw, though I want to... Silly brain of mine. Maybe saying it in writing will help me stick to it... Since I've been writing a lot I guess I'll share that
Sunlight breaking in
where the curtain hangs half open
a golden reprieve
almost harsh
yet somehow not
motes of dust
moving to some inscrutable force
swimming
swirling to a rhythm i can't quite see,
somehow
without gravity
Yet always to land in a peculiar place
a bookshelf
A nook perhaps,
And lie unnoticed, for ages to be.
Then once more float away
with the current's pull.
moving
in schools, quartets, pairs,
like drops of sun
but infinitely less
would that i were weightless
without crime or consequence
A mote of dust

I didn't think English was your first language... And you're writing stuff this good?!? I really think poetry is a gift; you can do it or you can't. It certainly isn't a talent of mine. Thank you for sharing this .
