Hmmm… idk 
maybe it’s because when you’re sketching, you have all your drawing time to spend on the sketch if you want. But when you do a finished piece, you end up rushing the sketch which makes the rest of the artwork look rushed? Idk just an idea, because I know that happens to me sometimes
