Our neighborhood ends at a dead end and that dead end was actually a fenced off farmland area. There used to be cows and everything. One day they even escaped and there was one outside my bedroom window.

I don’t go very many places but there’s this bridge that we drive across that has lots of trees that look really pretty in the summertime

•Just a two minutes walk from my house is a little spot down by the river. There's a large rock at the top of the hill thst people will sit at and take pictures, but I always like to go down the hill and sit on the river rocks. It's very pretty.

There's a nice big field near where I live, I went there to fly kites with my dad a few years ago and recommended it to my friend to scream

There is this one place at a river where you can sit and lean on some old brick thing where that part of the river looks like a lake. Also has wonderful water swirls~
You do get weird looks from people going for a walk though.

The park in my town. It's a small town so it's usually empty, and it's on the edge next to a field, so being there alone near sunset is really peaceful.
There's also a library across the street, so I used to check out a book, go to the park and just read there for a while.

I don't remember the name of the mountain but it was a pretty secluded town where my mum used to live and there was a way near the top to get to an untouched part of the mountain that gave me peace of mind whenever I was there in the chaos of my family's situation
•
there’s a bridge nearby that has “squids don’t have ankles” spray painted on the bottom of it lmao
•
In my city, we have what’s known as “the bins” which has everything imaginable. Plenty of scrap fabric I’ve gotten from there

There's an overpass that goes through the forest, and there's a nice trail that goes under it so the whole underside is covered in rly cool graffiti art. Further down the trail is sort of a clearing n theres a bunch of little "huts" ppl have made out of fallen branches structured around circles of trees. There's one in particular that has like a roof, benches, multiple doorways, and its big and has a tree in the middle so it feels almost like it has multiple rooms

behind our backyard there’s like 20 acres of just forretsey stuff and there’s even a pond there but we don’t own it so we can’t do anything or actually see the pond,,, but we know abt it bcs of google maps

I live within a bike ride of Detroit and we have some kinda cool things:
Fort Wayne: abandoned French fort that was never used that you can go explore, it’s apparently very haunted.
Belle isle aquarium: oldest aquarium in the us
Eastern Market: cool ass outdoor market with good, locally grown produce and a SHIT ton of murals.
Dia: art museum, they have this giant Diego Rivera mural that takes over a full room. Or at least that’s my favorite thing there.
And infinite cool little art places, Many people don’t know this but Detroit has a thriving art community

The park near where I live recently put up these big wooded statues of dogs! My favorite are the two that look like their givin each other a little smooch <3

The city next to the town I live in was a Roman city ( o.o)b. Don't want to say too much bc it kinda gives away too much about where I live. But yeah, got some Roman stuff all of 20 minutes away.
•
There’s this place several hours from me where a guy put up gigantic (and I mean gigantic) sculptures of sea monsters and dinosaurs and horses. It’s the coolest place.
