OC-tober - feastGeez, that one made me crazy. I dunno how many doodles I tried to find out how to turn my abstract concept into a visual one. Now it is what it is.
The use of black magic is slowly eating up the empathy of the user over time. But why? It is actually some kind of accident. This type of magic is provided by otherworldly spirit like entities. In an event far in the past, two friends were exploring the world and through an accident ended up in the dimension where those entities live. One of them got lethally injured. Those entities appeared and offered help by providing their magic but they wanted to have something in return for compensation. The non injured friend had a lot of empathy and it was something the entities did not know and they were intrigued by its warm energy and asked this as a price and he accepted. He was able to heal his friend and bring them both home with the help of his newly acquired powers. The man did not realize the consequences of using this magic again and again as it can be hard to notice change in oneself and he also taught others how to use that power. The spirit entities do not understand humans and human society and never considered that something might be going wrong.Oct 30, 2024
