I usually don't do photo studies because I like coming up with my own ideas and I don't find it fulfilling when someone else has already done the creative thinking part. I know photostudies are very helpful in learning the basics but they feel like such a chore to me.

If I do end up doing them, I try to add my own take to it at least a little bit. For me, creativity is the most fulfilling part of the process.
