Lazy afternoon
Repost! The last digital one, finally... Unfortunately, I did not write down the date I posted this, but it must've been around... Two weeks ago? Three? I can't keep track of time. It was recently though.
Which is the reason why I posted it as an entry to this challenge again. Since I deleted the post, it should've been deleted from the challenge entries as well...

I finally got around to making this piece for @jukia 's DTIYS!
This took me ages to start and finish, but I did it. I'm proud of myself
It was a typical case of me getting inspired and going overboard.
Also, this piece got the honor of being the first piece of art drawn on my new drawing tablet! It's got a screen and dang, lineart is so much easier now
I even tried to do a little lineart variation, though it's probably not very noticeable.Enough about me though, let's talk about the character!
First of all, she's adorable
Second of all yes, I know the horns are to big, but I loved the idea of birds just... resting on them whenever she doesn't move much.
This was going to be a full-body piece at first, but I couldn't figure out how to draw her feet and it kinda led the focus away from her head and torso and overall didn't really fit how I wanted it to. There was just too much unnecessary background.
Also, this was the first time I tried this spotty lighting that happens under trees
