Flower girl
This one is very special to me. About a year ago my grandmother asked me to paint her something. As a child I used to spend a lot of my time at her place and she told me I used to draw stuff (though I barely remember anything form my childhood). She was the most important person in my life - still is even if she left this world recently. I somehow feel like she’s still with me. Wow look at me getting all personal and stuff

This piece taught me that I want to learn to mix and blend colours better and to let the watercolours do their thing, instead of me obsessively trying to control them. I’m trying to work on that now but even to this day I struggle to make the eyes look straight lol. Though I guess some people’s eyes look different directions and that’s cool too
