- I seldom get time to draw for the sake of pure self-indulgence in the making process because of my studies, but I was able to draw up a new design for Niko to hopefully use as a profile picture before eventually realising that I didn’t like the colours I had used and I should’ve used more reds and oranges to tie everything together.- I decided to change Niko’s head-shape to be more recognisable and rounded while preserving the pointy ears of the shiba inu dog breed he is based on, this decision came to me after sinking 100 hours into the new tomodachi life game with Niko as one of my residents. Seeing Niko emote as a living breathing character with a personality made me fall in love with the head-shape I made trying to accommodate his features onto a mii’s human shaped head.
