Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worldsI really adore this one, I really-really adore this one.I am so in love Alpha's lore and Kudas, but have to admit Veythar is my favourite. I love his design and I absolutely love his celestial object too, which is a Black Hole. I loooove Black Holes. They are dope. They are scary. And amazing. They destroy, but also create. They are terrifying, but absolutely necessary to have in a healthy universe - just like Death is needed in our lives. And Veythar carries the weight of being the God of Death - he is very lovely, complex character and it is always fun to draw him :3 (Even if he is detailed AF XD)
And ever since he is this controversial of an OC I felt to be more experimenting with him. I always wanted to give him a dark bg for this piece, and he has a lovely red lighting. And a blue light will go with it perfectly. I rarely use blue lighting, because it just feels super alien. We have a yellow sun, we are used to yellow light - actually sunlight is white, but thanks to our atmosphere filtering, we get yellow light. And it was perfect to make this piece a little bit... uneasy. Not from this world. And I also used some light chromatic aberration to strengthen that feeling.Jun 14, 2026
