Okay, my POV character is a shy, introverted teenage girl (imma name her Lucky), and I live in the suburban part of a city with my Mom, Dad, Brother, and Adopted Brother
Adopted Brother had anger issues and was abandoned but he never hurt anyone or anything but was generally intimidating so people wanted him gone :(
But my head strong Mom said "fuck you, he's my kid now"
So yay Adopted Brother <3
Imma name him Gahlen
Gahlen and Lucky were close as hell and both went to a high school that wasMagical and full of people from all walks of life (ranging from fairies to demons to even sentient robots full of moss hearts)
But Gahlen and Lucky were human and not magical at all
All of Lucky's best friends were human too (imma name them Misty, Lori, and Bernadette)
Literally only remember going to high school to meet with the girlies and then go hang out at night and, i don't remember how, something about gemstones or magic ball of light, but suddenly all of us were infused with powers of the elements
Making usMagical
Gahlen got fire magic (my poor brother)
Misty got water magic
Lori got earth magic
Bernadette got air magic
and Lucky got all of it.
Literally every element
First thing we do with it?
Learn how to fly (mood)
So what do 5 emotionally immature human teenagers do when they get powers?
Turn into superheroes of course
So we all got our costumes, our names, and decided to do some good (there was a minor hiccup when Gahlen had a ptsd dream and burned down the house, no one died and we moved literally across the street but, like, not cool dream he's been through enough)
I think there's a time skip because now we're at a big outdoor fair at the school and everyone knows us, Lucky is pretty comfortable with her powers and even more confident
She's flying around the fair, talking to people, getting food(the food looked so good ngl, like there was color changing cotton candy, big cupcakes with pink frosting and little bear shaped candies, like MMMMM)
But, suddenly, theres a little dip in her flight. Lucky feels heavier, as if the air around her disappeared.
Well, that's not suppose to happen
So Lucky heads inside the school, trying to find her friends and weird things start happening
She feels like she's being followed, people start disappearing, she's hearing whispers in her head.
"Did a demon accidentally target me?" Lucky thinks at first, so so so confused because demons can get detention and even expelled for possessing other students.
Things keep disappearing until everything is empty and void and she can't use her powers and all Lucky hears is mocking voices she can't make any words from and laughter
This goes on for a couple seconds (dream logic) until she suddenly snaps awake and Gahlen is wrestling a little chibi demon while the girlies check on Lucky.
Turns out everything WAS an accident and, because of the accidental target and possession, Lucky and her friends lost access to their elemental powers.
So if Lucky goes down = her friends go down
If one friend goes down = Lucky loses that powers
If all of her friends go down = Lucky goes down
They probably would've figured this out already but, like, this kinda situation and results never came up so??
Also the reason Lucky got possessed was because a demon girl (chibi demon) wanted to give her demon boyfriend a little kiss before class but she ran into Gahlen(literally like a car crash) and kissed him instead
And because she loved her boyfriend so much, the resulting magic ended up being the start of a targeting(demon magic doesnt work on other demons)
So, because chibi demon girl didnt want Gahlen and her boyfriend to fight, she moved her targeting onto Lucky while she figured out how to stop it
Chibi Demon Girl didn't stop it, Gahlen just sorta... punched it out of her?
After that the dream gets hazy but I think it all turned into a video game or something? And Lucky and her friends were all called pretty princesses?? And we needed to use our magic to help a different chibi cat person?
