So when will coffee start to taste good?? I swear I'm trying to like it like a grown up but really, the bitterness is just too much, even with milk and sugar :')

How old were you when you started enjoying coffee, if ever? Feel free to drop tips to learn to like it too lol

lol i relate, actually only started drinking it this year (im 21 haha)! it’s still bitter but somehow it became much more bearable than when i tried it last year?? i really like mochas (like a mix of coffee and chocolate) :D honestly it’s probably good to not have caffeine lol. my mum also only started drinking coffee after my younger sister was born 😂 maybe just enjoy some tea or just chocolate in the meantime hehe :]
Everyone has their own taste! I remember being very young, and asking my mom if I could have some of her coffee in a small coffee cup I liked to use back then.

Since being diagnosed with anxiety, I stopped drinking coffee altogether and switched to Chai! I drink both caffeine and low-caffeine chai, but it’s not as strong as coffee
It's okay to just not like coffee, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. That being said, some brands are just trash cough folgers and starbucks cough and there's a much wider variety of coffee then most people realize. Freshly ground beans are better then pre-ground and adding a pinch of salt helps cut through the bitterness, btw.
I do 3 teaspoons of instant coffee (caffeine hardly works on me, so I need to be extreme to feel anything ;v;) in half cup of hot water and then the other half (or third) is filled with almond milk (or sometimes the coconut one) and 4 teaspoons of brown sugar, since I also can't handle the bitterness of coffee, but I do like its aroma/taste when it's combined with milk (not the cow one tho, that one is nasty with coffee). I can only handle the instant one with lots of milk tho, due to my gastritis - plus the "real" coffee doesn't taste nearly as good as it used to in the past, it tastes like pure chemicals to me now. :'(

I started drinking it purely out of necessity back in elementary school, due to my extreme chronic fatigue, which I'll be sadly dealing with my whole life due to my condition. I would've probably never touched it otherwise. To me coffee was never "an adult thing", but merely a supplement just like guarana that helps you with the energy when you need it - I always found it odd hearing people view it that way and feeling like it was a required thing for an adult to drink (along with alcohol). :/
To be honest, I like the smell more than the taste, I like to drink it sometimes but I'm not crazy about it, I prefer other bitter drinks haha
