My Etsy account got suspended because I had unpaid finances, but it never gave me any notifications or emails about it even when my account got suspended. I only even found out my account was suspended cause I tried to log in on my tablet and it said I couldn’t cause it was suspended.
Kind of dumb in my opinion because how am I supposed to pay off the £1.50 that got my account suspended if they don’t even tell me about it before or after they suspend my account, and they also don’t tell me they’ve suspended my account??
Anyway I’ve submitted an appeal and I’m hoping they’ll get back to me soon cause I need to list some things. It really feels like nobody gives a shit about actually providing solid ground for creators and artists, even the people who say that’s their whole brand, but oh well.
Has anyone else had bad experiences with etsy or is this just a silly one-off?Dec 14, 2021

Sorry to hear that. Sometimes I hear bad/tricky things with Etsy. There’s got to be a way to complain about their service to them. Hopefully the appeal works.

•For me they suspended my account for not having a bank account verified (just launched shop) which would be an easy fix but they a) didnt give me any warnings and b) they wont let me verify it either (i have gotten the money they sent to me and could now verify it but the website is telling me "wait till you have the money to verify ur account" so i cant verify it :)))))))
