I've used the site for over a decade, it's definitely one of the better sites for artists---it has its issues like anywhere else, but the platform itself is pretty great as an art gallery. I get the most commission sales from DeviantArt, too.
I haven't used the app, though, so I have no idea how good it is. I only use the desktop site.

They just did some extremely scummy stuff to every single user on their platform recently with how they handled their AI garbage, so I think itâs being run by dummies who donât really care about their users quite as much as youâd like. Their marketing team apparently BEGGED them to not do what they ended up doing (poorly wording the announcement & more) & they didnât listen soâŚ

â˘Deviant arts ok sometimes recently. They have a larger audience but I just don't trust the company. I might have a account I'd have to look if they change the interface but it's fair
