It’s all fun and games working your butt off at an artwork to post on twitter until someone else gets a ton of likes drawing something simple and you get like 10 likes

I used to share art on Twitter. If you post regularly you can get a pretty decent following but it’s not worth it. It’s a pretty toxic app in general.

If you don't interact with anyone or do a drawing that is "share worthy" you probably won't get a lot of attention here, though when you do even on smaller scale people are more dedicated here, or at least that's what i noticed

to me Twitter is very toxic and actually it was made for debating stuff, not really for sharing art. when I was there it gave me the worst anxiety when we talk about apps

Both twitter and insta make me anxious, but i guess you never know if you don't try! It might work for some people, might not! It'll probably depend on how you interact with and market your posts?

I am interested in the answer you get! I am thinking of leaving insta for good, but I don't want to be only on artfol, cause even if it's a great place it's not one with a big enough reach right now. But I don't know much about Twitter...
