the avg on one of my classes finals is 59% (which is so low)
i got a 64% on my final but 100% and 95% on my midterms (which should have put me well into the A range considering avg was 60-70) and 100% on all my assignments. my grade dropped a whole letter grade. rip
and the prof is hella passive aggressive
she sent out an announcement that says, I QUOTE “I did, little earlier, drop the cutoffs for many scores by a point, so, you're welcome”
like bruh why are you so rude and immature, you are what- 50-60 yrs old and you cant maintain decency????? it was probably only a couple students that were complaining and you gotta treat us all like that???
you are an ADULT not some angsty child. dont act so unprofessional.
her lectures suck btw, no organization at all and she completely ignores when people ask her to slow down. (i was told she was passive aggressive about that too aha)
and when someone reported cheating, she said “suck it up”??????? like wha- you are a professor??? at a well known school???? shouldnt you care about someone cheating???

sorry for complaining lmao, i got a b which still isn’t terrible. i can suck it up, though i do feel i deserved a better grade considering everything else.
im just upset bc she has an absolutely terrible attitude.
side note: im going home today though! i get to see my doggo
EDIT: ah so apparently she also moved the other sections finals 10min before it started, and there was no social distancing.
someone else also requested that she raise their grade 0.07% and let her know a relative died recently so they hadnt done so well. and she replied “nope” LIKE-HOW CAN YOU (excuse my language) BE SUCH AN ASSHOLE NORMALLY YOUD AT LEAST OFFER CONDOLENCES
anyways, at least i feel validated now that i know shes horrible (°▽°)Dec 12, 2021

Oh my god those kinds of teachers suck
I had two really bad teachers at the start of highschool, one who I was just supposed to have one semester that grabbed hold of me the next semester after I had already gotten my grade from her class and just to yell at me for not pressing “turn in” on one assignment, and told me that because of that I was going to get an F, but she felt kind and gave me the grade I was actually supposed to have????? Like, we use google classroom and docs and she can see when I last touched the docs, which was well within the deadline, plus she could’ve sent me an email about it??? Anyway, my other bad teacher was just not fun to have. There’s two teachers per subject at that highschool and they make the test together so all students have the same tests. Everyone who had my teacher got an E on one test. Everyone. You could could get A’s. But everyone got E’s, I got an E+. The only people who got higher than E were those who got to do the test orally because of dyslexia or the alike. The other teacher’s students got a wide range of grades, that just kinda goes to show how bad our teacher was
I’m glad I have neither of them anymore and that all my current teachers are really nice and know how to teach a class

I’ve only been attending uni for a semester so I can’t really give advice ^^; but one of my friends has a prof like that and they just went hard on evaluations (even then if they’re on tenure the instruction can’t really do much…) the cheating part is also a A H part since most uni’s have a strict academic misconduct policy??

•Ugh, I hate passive aggressive teachers. Why is she so angry for having to curve the test that SHE made?? If your quiz is literally so hard that the average is a 59%, then maybe that's a problem with YOU and not the students. Seriously, teachers who have that attitude SUCK. Classes that prioritize test/quizzes like that suck bcuz you can do so well in normal assignments, but may not do well on quizzes/tests and you get punished for it... it's not fair.. i'm sorry you have to deal with that :(

So one time we were dissecting a squid and had to clean up after, and my dumbass couldn't find the specific trashcan she said to dump it in, so I asked her where we should throw it away. Then she told me "WeLl, iF yOu LiStEnEd tO mE tHe 5 TiMeS i sAiD iT YoUd kNoW" and that caught me really off guard... I just asked a simple question tf-
