Sad fanfic AU go brrr

As a big Tolkien fan, the first thing I ever wrote was a fanfiction set in the world of The Hobbit. It was terrible, but I reworked it a lot and I am currently quite proud of how it is turning out. However, I have moments where I think of ending it tragically and thus this art piece was born.
The half-elf/half-dwarf in the drawing is Rin, the main protagonist of the fanfic. Her mother, another OC named Meril, was Thranduil's sister, and her father is Frerin. Yes I know how Mary-Suish that sounds, I am trying to balance it out.
Basically, this scene occurs after the BotFa, if it ends the canon way.May 2, 2021
