PRIDEDuring the Third Reich in 1933 Germany, the infamous book burnings took place.
Among the collection of books burned were from the Institute of Sexology founded by Magnus Hirschfeld, known to be a pioneer in advocating for the rights and knowledge of transgender people and homosexuals.
There are no records of books saved from the institute.
