Born in the Church of the Holy Oculis, Marissa is a future “vessel” (more info on that soon) in the current timeline of Obsidian’s Code. She’s an 18 year old student and tries to keep her religious and social life separate while trying her best to abide her religions rule which can be difficult at times. She is scheduled to become an official Vessel at the end of the year.. on her 19th birthday

She is a very independent person who carries herself with pristine etiquette and can quite the charmer. She is also a very attractive young lady and is very desirable to many and her pleasant atmosphere also makes her very. popular. Alas, even though she can be seen as really kind to other obsidians it’s usually from a place of pity as she tends to put herself above other obsidians which is due to her religious values. She usually wears gloves to avoid physical contact with others and she usually avoids direct eye contact when addressing someone that’s outside her faith (though there are a lot of personal exceptions, such as close friends). This can make her usually seem somewhat mysterious to outsiders of her faith. She is brought into the main sector of the Resistance to be a mentor for the rookies...

Marissa’s code “Intense eye” makes her eyesight and her senses extremely powerful… giving her the ability to manipulate perception of reality to those around her. This also gives her the ability to understand the perception of others in any formality.. because of her clairvoyant abilities she is extremely sensitive to the spiritual plains and spiritual entities/deities. Specifically to the one she worships “Mother Oculis or The Holy Oculis” making her one of her vessels.. in combat Marissa is granted Oculis’s Hands.. and Her Vessel sisters (more info soon) are granted other parts of her being (i.e. Legs, Hair, Mouth, Weapon, Etc.)

Note: This code does cause users to experience strain if eyes are in use for to long. Intense eye users tend to sleep a lot to rest their eyes. This is an extremely rare and powerful ability/code especially if you are a Vessel but it’s not omnipotent.. any damage to the eyes can hinder the use of their code.Jul 29, 2021
