AI bros are now coming at me on Threads comparing art and literature to GIFs cause I suggested that AI companies should pay and commission Artist and writers to make stock images to train their AI instead of using people’s artwork to train their AI’s without permission or consent and used a GIF of someone shrugging.

If they ever had a job I’m sure they’d like to get paid for it. Thats how artists feel about their work being sourced for these ‘images’ without royalties. I’m sure it’s hard for them to empathize as they’ve never done anything worth compensation I guess
