There are some old (actual old) manuscripts and books on archive.org.
I found an old cookbook there, early ish renaissance in Germany I think it was? Somewhat readable, language differences start being a thing when going back this far.

•One medieval themed movie that I really like is called "King Arthur Legend of the Sword". (You can't get more medieval than that 
)
There's also a book - that ig is sorta based around medieval stuff - that I absolutely love called "House of Dragons"

So a really good historical book series is the accused kings series by Maurice Druon - it tells about the mysterious stuff that happened to the royal family in France which let to the belief that there was a curse that led to all those happenings
A good movie is Black Death - this is basically a movie about the plague and it’s relatively brutal but also interesting - especially if we look at character development
And I kinda recommend the series Knightfall too (only season 1 tho) because it really has that medieval vibe and the fashion is represented in a nice way too - the story is mid tho and isn’t historically accurate
The Physician is also a good movie and book so far (haven’t finished reading it yet) - it’s basically about medieval medicine and the difference between the techniques in europe and the east
Soo and if you didn’t watch it yet - Vikings. It’s more about the early Middle Ages but it’s really good from season 1-4 or so
I probably have more but this is enough I think xD (yeah it’s my favorite era)

Wait here is another book: "The nonexistent knight" by Calvino. It so funny, the characters are great, one of my favourite books! Just read the first chapter to have a taste, you won't want to put it down

Someone else already did but I really recommend the book of "The name of the rose", the movie is okay but gets weird by the end and doesn't explain much, avoid completely the netflix series, that's terrible

•I really enjoyed “the perilous guard” which is a book that is sort of YA fiction but was made before that was an established genre
•
"Decameron" film by Pasolini, "the incredible army of Brancaleone" film by Monicelli, "The name of the rose" book by Eco (but they did a film too)
