Guys I hate Pinterest. I got an email saying they removed one of my pins in my pose references board, because it displayed self harm??? I definitely had no poses saved even remotely suggesting that. Other then them removing it in the first place (I’m sure it’s just a stupid faulty AI system or smth), firstly they didn’t even include a one-time link to see what it was they removed (which they used to do), and I don’t have all of my many pins memorized. Secondly, the appeal link doesn’t even work, it “can’t be reached,” and thirdly, they gave me a warning??? For WHAT??? It’s a pin that was up on Pinterest that I didn’t post, I just saved on a PRIVATE BOARD. You can’t ban my account for that???

ITS OKAY NOW I still kinda hate Pinterest it’s a disaster but I got an email saying they’d reviewed it and the pin was back up, apparently the pin they removed was a girl standing on the edge of a high pole or smth looking out at traffic, so I do understand why the bot would’ve removed it but for a human looking at it it was definitely just like an aesthetic photo shoot not like she was about to jump

I’ve had a mass increase of these mails from pinterest lately, and seems like they think every single pin shows something harmful or sexual when it’s the farthest from it; and half the time there’s no way to see what the pin even is (if you do find the history of reports on your profile it’s also just very blurry images so still hard to tell what the pin is) i’ve jsut filed a complaint on most of them at least the ones i see doesn’t break the guidelines they claim it does.
Also i’ve heard that if an account is deleted and ypu’ve saved some of their pins you automatically get listed as the uploader or something, and i’ve definitely seen that happen where it says a pin i posted/uploaded was removed or they’re warning me about it but it’s just something i saved the original pin is not uploaded by me.. I actually noticed a good while back sometimes it showed my acc as the uploader on some of my saved pins and just thought it weird at first but then i saw someone mention it happens if someone deletes their acc or it gets removed, wich is a very faulty programming imo. Sorry for the long comments woops, but yeah pinterest sucks now

•Yeah this happens all the time for me. Half the time they reinstate the pin without me doing anything

•Yee I regularly get notifs for pins being removed because they showed nudity or such going against guidelines, even if the pins don't show anything like that ...
If you go to the notifications on your actual account you can tap the notif to see which pin was taken down.
