Uzumaki is one of my favs mangas. And the movie is crazy. Analogue movie horror from the 2000s. I don't know if you watched ringu 0 to 3 but I think if you did and liked you will probably like Uzumaki, too. It's with a lot of body horror, though. Ringu is more psychological. But both scratch that specific Japanese/Asian horror itch. The reason why I can't watch American horror anymore.
