Moonlit Conservatory
I felt like trying to paint a scene with my character, Vika, for the moonlit conservatory theme for Drawtober. I hadn't made any art of her in a little while, so I thought this might be a good challenge for me. She is also fond of plants, so I could imagine her sitting in a room like this waiting for friends with some tea and baked goods. The greenhouse wall part of the painting was probably one of my favorite parts to build depth on, since it's actually a dark greenish-blue with hints of red rather than just a stark black. I had fun fiddling around with the perspective on this for practice as well.Grumbacher Watercolor Paper approx. 4.5 x 6
