Lamp dude
I realized that lately I've been too focused on posting "perfect" and "beautiful" artwork, which means I've forgotten to have fun with drawing. So, I allowed myself to let go of my high expectations and draw this silly character again.I've always enjoyed drawing odd charcaters and crazy creatures, but I got too caught up in creating pieces that "look good" and that I consider would do better on social media. Luckily a dear artist friend helped me realize that this mindset isn't doing me any favors (in fact I've been feeling a little stuck lately because of this, but then I drew a ridiculous merperson, which helped get me back to normal^-^)
So, now I'll allow myself to post the silly sketches along with the beautiful artwork, because, after all, they all are a part of my journey and deserve the attention

Lol this is so cute!
This hits hard, because (in case you didn't notice lol) I've been into an art block sorta, and I don't know why it happened, maybe it was due to major changes but a part of it was the fact the social media pressure began to be felt, but I suddenly lost my whole interest in drawing and painting. It's scary. But now luckily I feel it coming back, and what you're saying is exactly what it has to be said!! ;))
